Terms & Conditions – Photography Workshops

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography workshops, courses, events and gift vouchers purchased through www.skyhighphotography.co.uk . By making a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Bookings & Payment

1.1 All workshop bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once full payment has been received.

1.2 Prices are listed in GBP (£) and may be subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

1.3 By booking a workshop, participants confirm that they are legally able to enter into a binding agreement under UK law.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 All bookings are final. Refunds are not offered for cancellations, non-attendance, late arrival, or failure to participate for any reason.

2.2 If a participant provides more than seven (7) days’ written notice before the scheduled workshop date, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a transfer to another suitable workshop date, subject to availability.

2.3 Transfer requests made less than seven (7) days before the workshop date may not be accepted.

2.4 Workshop transfers are non-refundable and may only be transferred once unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellation by Us

3.1 We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient bookings, adverse weather conditions, instructor illness, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3.2 In the event that we cancel a workshop, participants will be offered either:

  • a transfer to an alternative workshop date; or
  • a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled workshop.

3.3 We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, insurance, or other associated expenses.

4. Participant Requirements

4.1 All participants must be aged 18 or over unless accompanied by a paying adult who is responsible for them throughout the workshop.

4.2 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part in the workshop activities and for informing us of any relevant medical conditions or accessibility requirements prior to the workshop.

5. Insurance

5.1 Participants are responsible for arranging their own suitable insurance cover, including but not limited to:

  • personal accident insurance;
  • travel insurance;
  • public liability insurance where appropriate; and
  • cover for photographic equipment and personal belongings.

5.2 We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment or belongings during the workshop.

6. Liability

6.1 Participation in workshops is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for:

  • any indirect or consequential loss;
  • loss of profits, business, or opportunity; or
  • any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from participation in the workshop, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

6.3 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.

7. Photography & Media

7.1 We may take photographs or video footage during workshops for promotional and marketing purposes.

7.2 By attending a workshop, participants consent to the use of such images unless they notify us in writing before the workshop begins.

8. Gift Vouchers

8.1 Gift voucher sales are final and non-refundable.

8.2 Gift vouchers have no cash or monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

8.3 Gift vouchers must be redeemed before any stated expiry date and are subject to workshop availability.

9. Conduct

9.1 We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate, without refund.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
