Published Work & Photography Features

Published Photographer & Photography Educator

My photography has been featured in leading photography publications and competitions, covering drone photography, cityscape photography and creative techniques.

Through my published work, I share practical photography knowledge and real-world techniques developed through years of photographing Manchester, the UK landscape and urban environments.

As an award-winning photographer and photography educator, I also use this experience in my Manchester photography workshops, night photography workshops and drone photography training, helping photographers develop their skills and create better images.

Digital Camera Magazine – Drone Photography Tutorial

My drone photography expertise has been featured in Digital Camera Magazine, where I shared practical advice and techniques for creating better aerial photographs.

The tutorial covers the creative and technical considerations involved in drone photography, drawing on my own experience of photographing landscapes and cityscapes from the air.

This feature reflects my approach to photography education: practical, hands-on advice designed to help photographers understand their equipment and make more informed creative decisions.

Digital Camera Magazine – Cityscape Photography Tutorial

My Manchester cityscape photography has also featured in a Digital Camera Magazine tutorial, where I shared practical techniques for photographing the city after dark.

The tutorial uses a Castlefield night photograph to demonstrate the creative and technical considerations involved in cityscape and long-exposure photography, including working with city lights, reflections and exposure to create atmospheric images.

Night photography and long-exposure photography are also at the heart of my Manchester Night Photography Workshop, where I teach photographers how to capture Manchester after dark and make the most of challenging low-light conditions, including techniques for creating light trails.

British Photography Awards – Shortlisted Photographer

My photography has also been recognised by the British Photography Awards, with my drone photograph The Frozen Viaduct shortlisted in the 2026 awards.

The image reflects my passion for aerial photography and finding unique perspectives across the UK landscape. Being shortlisted alongside photographers from across the country is an important part of my photographic journey.

My experience in aerial photography also feeds directly into my Manchester drone photography training, where I help photographers develop their drone photography skills, improve aerial composition and get more from their cameras.

From Published Work to Photography Workshops

My published work reflects the practical, hands-on approach I bring to my photography workshops and one-to-one tuition.

Whether you’re looking to improve your understanding of camera settings, learn long-exposure and night photography techniques, or develop your aerial photography skills, my workshops are designed around practical tuition and real-world photography.

I offer Manchester Small group photography workshops, Manchester Night Photography Workshops and drone photography training, with private 1-to-1 lessons and small group sessions available.
